We encourage diversity and are an international team coming from 26 different countries and speaking 25 different languages.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior DevOps Engineer at Ledgy, you'll build the infrastructure and tooling that help our engineers ship quickly and reliably. You'll join our Platform team, collaborating with engineers and InfoSec to improve CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure for a product that helps companies manage equity.\nOur challenge is to make delivery faster, production easier to operate, and AI-assisted development safer - while keeping complexity and costs in check.\nLocation: We hire remotely across Spain, Germany, Poland, and Romania.\nThe team you'll join: Platform - Builds the infrastructure and tooling that help our engineers ship quickly and reliably, working with InfoSec to improve CI/CD, observability, and cloud infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Work On\nCloud infrastructure. Evolve our GCP and Kubernetes cloud architecture and setup with Terraform, improving reliability, simplicity, and cost visibility and enabling scaling to multiple availability regions.\nCI/CD and developer experience. Speed up feedback loops, reduce flaky builds, and turn recurring support requests into self-service tooling.\nObservability. Reduce alert noise, define meaningful SLOs, and make production issues easier to diagnose.\nSecurity and automation. Partner with InfoSec on secure delivery, access controls, and guardrails for AI-assisted workflows.\nYou'll also join our incident-response on-call rotation during working hours and help prevent recurring issues. As we expand our servicing of public companies and jurisdictions, this on-call might evolve to compensated 24h/7 hour rotation.\nYou'll Thrive in This Role If You\nDon't worry if you don't tick every box. These are the things that would make you an especially good fit.\nHave strong DevOps / SRE background designing and operating cloud infrastructure and production systems\nHave worked with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code, ideally GCP and Terraform\nEnjoy building fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines and improving developer experience\nCan diagnose issues across networking, infrastructure, and application code\nWrite maintainable code and bring a practical approach to observability and security\nValue collaboration, mentorship, and thoughtful trade-offs between reliability, complexity, and cost\nAre curious about supporting AI-assisted development safely - no AI specialism required\nExperience with Node.js, MongoDB or Temporal is a plus.\nOur Tech Stack\nWe work in TypeScript: React, Tailwind CSS, and tRPC on the front end, and tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB, and Temporal on the back end. Infrastructure runs on GCP, Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions. For observability and incident response we use Grafana, Sentry, and PagerDuty.\nYou don't need to know all of it. We don't expect proficiency in every part of this stack. Strong infrastructure fundamentals and the ability to learn matter more than knowing every tool already.\nWhat Your Journey Could Look Like\nFirst 30 days:\nGet to know Ledgy, the Platform team, and our internal users with an onboarding buddy\nExplore our infrastructure and delivery workflows, and ship your first improvement\nAnalyze current state of our cloud infrastructure and propose meaningful enhancements\nFirst 3 months:\nIndependently deliver improvements to CI/CD, observability, or infrastructure design\nShare operational ownership and help reduce recurring friction for engineers\nContribute to architecture discussions and document what others need to operate our systems\nFirst 6-12 months:\nOwn DevOps and SRE function and DevOps initiatives from problem definition through rollout and adoption\nDeliver measurable improvements to developer experience, reliability, or cost\nHelp shape our platform's direction and mentor other engineers\nThe interview process\n Getting to know you (45 min): Meet with someone from our people team to talk about your experience and to ask questions about the role\n Live Coding (60 min): An equity domain problem to solve collaboratively using your preferred language and IDE. We want to see how you think, so this step does not allow AI.
