You will also be required to assist the Lifeguards with Swim Tests, focus on change room and facility cleanliness, provide assistance to Lifeguards as required, and assist with the safety of patrons in other general pool activities.\nWhat will you do?\nMonitor Waterslide patrons\nConduct Swim Test Evaluations for patrons\nPrevent injuries by providing public education and safety supervision\nMaintain a clean and safe environment in and around the water for users by conducting maintenance every shift\nWork with your team and supervisors to remain current on operational procedures, first aid, and rescue skills\nProvide users with a high quality of customer service and create a valuable and positive experience\nMaintain a positive attitude and portray a professional image when dealing with the public\nWho you are?\nMinimum 15 years of age\nA positive and energetic personality who is hard working and team-oriented\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team\nExcellent verbal skills\nA commitment to ongoing learning and skill development, including the ability to complete monthly fitness and knowledge skills tests, attend all required training and in-service sessions, and complete additional courses or certifications as required\nCertifications:\nBronze Cross\nIntermediate First Aid with CPR C\nHours of Work:\nEvening Shifts are generally 2 hours.\nMust commit availability to work at least one (1) evening shift and one (1) weekend shift per week\nDaytime hours are available on School Professional Development Days and Holidays\nAnticipated hours are approximately 2 - 20 hours per week.\nMust be flexible to attend training sessions outside of typical work week hours, as required.\nMust commit availability to work at least one (1) evening shift and one (1) weekend shift per week Evening Shifts are generally 2 hours.
