The ASM helps lead daily store operations, coaches and develops team members, ensures compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements, and maintains high operational, merchandising, food safety, and customer service standards.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and support daily store operations, including opening/closing in the Store Manager’s absence\nCustomer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing complaints and feedback effectively.\nInventory Management: Monitor Inventory levels, order new products, and manage stock control to minimize waste and ensure product availability.\nEstablish and ensure proper rapport and partnership with external vendors to maximize sales and profitability, seeking proper product assortment through new items, area demographics and deal buys.\nCoach, train, mentor, and support the development and performance of all team members\nAssist with scheduling and maintaining appropriate staffing levels\nEnsure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and local/state/federal regulations\nMaintain high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and overall store conditions\nExecute merchandising programs, plan-o-grams, displays, and signage accurately\nManage inventory to ensure proper stock levels, freshness, rotation, and minimal shrink\nMonitor key performance metrics (sales, labor, shrink, margins and EBITDA) and support data-driven decisions\nAssist with basic facility maintenance and perform other duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nMinimum of two (2) years Management/leadership experience supervising others \nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience in scheduling, merchandising; budgeting and expense control \nPreferred Bilingual in Spanish and English \nRetail or grocery experience strongly preferred\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nEffective oral and written communication\nMicrosoft Office proficiency\nMust Adhere to a uniform dress code\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nRequires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, and carry items weighing 20–50 pounds on a regular basis.
