We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join our team! If you are enthusiastic about land surveying & civil engineering and eager to be challenged, we have an opening for a Field Survey Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and work with Survey Party Chiefs in the field
- Become familiar with Survey grade instruments such as robots, drones and GPS
- Reading maps, following directions, and interpreting engineering and construction plans
- Observing and documenting field activities
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills, Knowledge, Expertise
- No experience necessary.
- Must be willing to work 8+ hours per day outside in various elements
- Willing to wear provided PPE and take instruction from Survey Party Chiefs
- Possess quality and focused skills in problem solving, analytical and critical thinking as well as having interpersonal and people skills to work in a team environment
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 /hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.
