Profile Summary:

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer with 6+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in AI/LLM architecture, Agentic AI, Advanced RAG, Knowledge Graphs and Python. The ideal candidate will own the AI architecture of a next-generation enterprise modernization platform, build production-grade multi-agent systems from the ground up, and lead a small engineering team while working directly with the CTO and product leadership.

We are building a next-generation enterprise modernization platform that helps organizations understand and transform complex legacy applications into modern architectures. Large enterprises often have decades-old codebases with deeply embedded business logic and complex dependencies. Our platform combines AI and advanced software engineering techniques to understand these systems and accelerate their modernization.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Own the AI architecture and technical direction of the platform.

- Design and build production-grade Agentic AI and multi-agent systems.

- Develop agent workflows using LangGraph, Pydantic AI or similar frameworks.

- Build advanced RAG/RLM systems focused on accuracy and efficient token usage.

- Design Neo4j Knowledge Graphs for code relationships, dependencies and ontologies.

- Build AI evaluation and benchmarking pipelines for correctness, accuracy and reliability.

- Lead a 2 - 3 member engineering pod and mentor junior/graduate engineers.

- Work closely with the CTO, product leaders, AI scientists and domain experts to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

- 6+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/LLM systems.

- Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals.

- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM architecture and system design.

- Expert-level experience with LangGraph, Pydantic AI or equivalent frameworks.

- Strong experience building multi-agent and agentic AI workflows.

- Deep understanding of RAG, Advanced RAG and/or RLM.

- Hands-on experience with Neo4j, Knowledge Graphs, Vector Databases and embeddings.

- Practical experience with LLM evaluation, benchmarking, accuracy and token optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with AST / Abstract Syntax Tree parsing.

- Hands-on experience with Tree-sitter, ANTLR or similar technologies.

- Experience building heuristic-driven code analysis systems.

- Experience with LLM observability, tracing and monitoring.

- Experience deploying AI/LLM solutions in on-premises enterprise environments.

- Experience working with legacy modernization or enterprise technology stacks.

- Knowledge of Oracle or enterprise databases.

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode or AgentOS.
