We’re offering a competitive base salary.\nAre you comfortable working with data, keen to learn and looking for an opportunity to build a career in payroll and pensions?\nYou do not need previous payroll or pensions experience. We are more interested in your attention to detail, confidence with data, ability to stay organised and willingness to learn.\nYou’ll receive structured training through our training academy, helping you understand payroll processes, payment calculations and the wider journey of a Defined Benefit Pension Risk scheme.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLearning to manage assigned buy-in scheme activities in line with benefit specifications\nProcessing pension payment information using internal systems and spreadsheets\nCompleting payment and true-up calculations accurately and within agreed timescales\nCalculating the funding required by pension trustees\nResponding to enquiries from internal and external contacts\nBuilding an understanding of the end-to-end Pension Risk Transfer journey\nMaintaining accurate records, filing conventions and audit trails\nKeeping relevant teams and third parties updated on information affecting processing\nWho we're looking for:\nConfidence working with data, numbers and detailed information\nBasic experience using office applications and a willingness to learn new systems\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks\nCareful attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work\nAbility to work to deadlines and ask for support when needed\nClear and respectful written and verbal communication\nA customer-focused approach and an interest in delivering good outcomes\nPrevious payroll, pensions or financial services experience is welcome but not essential\nWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
