Through this strategic partnership, we combine complementary expertise and capabilities to advance innovative immunotherapies for patients living with multiple myeloma.\nLegend Biotech is seeking an Intern, FFBA Analytical Development as part of the Technical Development team based in Somerset, NJ.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Intern to join Functional, Flow Cytometry and BioAnalytics team within our empowered Analytical Development organization. The intern will focus on supporting the development of novel flow cytometry-based methods to assess cellular metabolism in immune and engineered cell products. The project will focus on establishing robust essays to characterize metabolic states of t cells transduced with LB2501 LVV. Working closely with principal scientists in Analytical Development, the candidate will design experiments, optimize staining panels, analyze multiparametric flow cytometry data, and documentation.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with scientists to identify pain points in the electronic sample ascension process.\nDevelop and draft procedures to streamline and organize sample data and test reporting.\nObserve and assist with routine testing of non-critical samples.\nPerform routine laboratory activities, like equipment calibration, cleaning, and general laboratory upkeep.\nAssist in the creation of accurate Electronic Laboratory Notebook entries and LIMS sample templates.\nThis is a closely mentored role, and most decisions about planning and execution will require collaboration,consensus and alignment with senior scientists.\n\nRequirements\nUndergraduate or master’s student in:Immunology\nCell Biology\nMolecular Biology\nBiomedical Engineering\nBiochemistry\nBiotechnology\n\nPreferred experience with:\nMammalian cell culture\n\nFlow cytometry\n\nFluorescence-based assays\n\nData analysis software\n\nBasic statistics\n\nStrong analytical thinking \nAttention to detail \nScientific curiosity \nEffective communication\nMicrosoft Office Suite\nGraphPad Prism, other data analysis tools (PowerBI, JMP, R)\nStrong written and verbal English skills are required.\nPlease note: These benefits are offered exclusively to permanent full-time employees.
