Join Legend Brands and help us develop great people, drive results, and keep projects moving forward.\nPlease apply directly on our careers page - Legend Brands Careers Page\nEmployer Description:\nLegend Brands is a growing multi-vertical manufacturer serving restoration, cleaning, and construction professionals; performance automotive cooling markets; fish hatchery and aquaculture operations; through a portfolio of industry-leading brands including Dri-Eaz, Mediclean, UnSmoke, OdorX, Sapphire Scientific, Prochem, Chemspec, Flex-A-Lite, and Marisource.\nEssential Duties:\nLead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the design, development, testing, and launch of durable electromechanical consumer products\n\nProvide technical leadership and direction across mechanical, refrigeration, electrical/electronic, and embedded-system engineering disciplines\n\nManage engineering priorities, workloads, schedules, and resources to support business and product-development objectives\n\nRecruit, interview, onboard, and develop engineering personnel while managing performance, goals, and career development\n\nEstablish engineering best practices, processes, and technical standards that improve consistency and effectiveness across the organization\n\nReview and approve product designs, engineering calculations, specifications, test plans, drawings, and technical documentation\n\nProvide technical oversight of refrigeration and thermal systems, including compressors, heat exchangers, airflow systems, refrigerant circuits, controls, and overall system performance\n\nGuide the design of plastic components and assemblies, including injection-molded housings, structural features, fastening methods, material selection, and design for manufacturability\n\nApply knowledge of plastic tooling and molding processes to optimize part quality, durability, manufacturability, tooling complexity, and cost\n\nEnsure products meet applicable UL, CSA, ETL, FCC, and other regulatory and product-safety requirements\n\nLead technical design reviews, DFMEAs, risk assessments, root-cause investigations, and corrective-action activities\n\nDrive engineering projects from initial concept through design, validation, production launch, and ongoing lifecycle support\n\nManage engineering schedules, deliverables, technical risks, and resources to ensure projects meet timing, cost, quality, and performance objectives\n\nPartner with Product Management, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to successfully transition products from development into production\n\nManage engineering changes to ensure modifications are properly evaluated, validated, documented, and communicated before implementation\n\nSupport manufacturing and suppliers in resolving production issues, quality concerns, component substitutions, and technical problems\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.\nMinimum eightyears of applicable work experience required.\nMinimum four years leading technical staff.\nExperienced in leading, coaching, and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team\nExperienced in design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) and transitioning durable consumer products into production\nSkilled in plastic part design, injection molding, tooling, and material selection \nSkilled in product verification, validation, reliability testing, and root-cause analysis \nSkilled in 3D CAD, specifically SolidWorks \nStrong knowledge of mechanical design principles and electromechanical product development \nStrong Knowledge in refrigeration systems, thermal management, and airflow design \nKnowledge of engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs, revisions, and engineering changes\nKnowledge of product safety and regulatory requirements, including applicable UL, CSA, ETL, FCC, and other standards\nProven ability to effectively manage multiple engineering projects, priorities, schedules, risks, and deliverables while meeting established objectives\nHiring Range:\nBetween $110,000 -
