The Position is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in the finance department. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that finances are accurate and up to date and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProcess invoices for payment and ensure approval processes are maintained\nPrepare Accounts Receivable Invoices for customer billing.\nReconcile monthly Accounts Payable & Account Receivable Aging Reports with Trial Balance\nReconcile other accounts as per requested\nEnsure proper documentation backup, General Ledger coding, routing invoices to the appropriate department for approvals.\nRespond to vendor inquiries regarding past due invoices and discrepancies.\nAssist with accounting projects and general office support tasks when necessary.\nProcess checks run, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and/or as needed\nPrepare monthly closing journal of accrued expenses.\nPrepare and file annual reports.\nAssists with external and internal audits.\nMaintain daily sales records\nDeposit payments weekly.\nQUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nAssociate’s degree in accounting or finance\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or related accounting role preferred\nAn equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nKnowledge of general and cost accounting\nExcellent math skills; high aptitude for numerical data\nCommunication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability\nAbility to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required\nExperience with D365 and ADP preferred\nOTHER:\nAbility to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff including management.\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines\nMust have a professional attitude and appearance\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
