Join us to make legends happen!\nTHE ROLE\nThis position is responsible for the overall accurate service and accounting of all transactions of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including inventory.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsible for the setup, cleanliness, and breakdown of assigned bar area.\nBartenders are responsible for recipe knowledge, proper ringing of all product, and cash and credit card handling.\nProvide and create a fun, friendly and exciting experience for all guests to uphold all of our standards for the proper service of alcohol as set forth by the Legends Hospitality and TABC organization.\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills and Abilities\nThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nExcellent customer service\nCan be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization\nStrong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships\nResponds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly\nAbility to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; has strong abilities to organize people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow\nCan manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order.\nDetail Oriented\nAbility to work independently and/or in a team environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nMust have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMust have at least 1 year experience in a high volume bar.\nMust have a current T.A.B.C. certification\nMust be able to lift 30 pounds without aid\nMust be able to stand for an extended period of time without aid\nMust be able to read, write and speak in English\nMenu planning and development\nMust be able to stand or walk for varying length of time\nMust be available to work an irregular schedule\nMust be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMust have at least 1 year experience in a high-volume bar.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nLocation: On Site\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
