They are also responsible for box office duties during non-event time including group sales, consignment, comp tickets\nand reporting. Part Time Hourly Wage $32.00\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOpen/Close box office as necessary.\nPrepare the seller briefing and assigned windows on event nights, arriving prior to sellers call time.\nServe as first point of contact for ticket resolution for sellers and patrons on event nights.\nSell tickets to events via Ticketmaster or AXS as needed.\nProvide excellent customer service to all patrons.\nSet an example and serve as a leader to all ticket sellers.\nProcess ticket orders (group, consignment, comps, sales) and send reports via Ticketmaster / AXS ticketing systems.\nPre-interview any potential new hires\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Box Office management staff.\nQualifications\nA minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.\nExperience in a Box Office role\nComputer skills including Ticketmaster and AXS ticketing systems (preferred but not essential).\nMust be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.\nWork with a sense of urgency and priority\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills\nMust be available nights, weekends and holidays.\nAbility to interact with all levels of staff including management and clients.\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (BA/BS Degree Preferred).\nProficient PC skills including Internet Explorer, Outlook, MS Office Excel and Word\nSkills and Abilities\nExcellent organizational, problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills required.\nStrong attention to detail is required and comfortable working with data.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
