Join us!\nTHE ROLE\nThe Chef position will report to the General Manager and will be responsible to coordinatethe day to dayoperations of the venue.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAbility to set up and prepare all food items; opening and closing duties; replenishment and rotation of stock as directed by the General Manager- Concessionsand Regional Executive Chef.\n\nSet up ofnon-food items for shift; high levelof sanitation awareness and conscientiousness; professional, safe, and efficient manner.\n\nInputting daily event sheets and daily reports.\n\nProduction of menu items in a timely mannerand in accordance withcompany standards.\n\nAbility to follow directions precisely and consistently; maintenance of work area and proper food storage; opening and closing duties.\n\nAdheres to company guidelines and house rules, always exceeds guest expectations.\n\nAssistin staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff.\n\nAbility to interact with guests and staff in order toensure guest satisfaction.\n\nMust have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered.\n\nAbility to assurecompliance with company service standards, company inventoryand cash control procedures.\n\nWork as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above atthe highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nAll applicants must be at least 18 years of age.\n\nProfessional training through a culinary education or working in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility, full service casual dining preferred.\n\nAbility to interact with co-workers in order toassurecompliance with company service standards.\n\nMust have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relationsand etiquette.\n\nAbility to multi taskin a fast paced, team orientated setting.\n\nMust be able to read, speakand write in English.\n\nAbility to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.\n\nAbility to workall events, including:extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.\n\nMust have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including:constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.\n\nCOMPENSATION\nCompetitive salary, commensuratewith experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nLocation: OnSite (Jiffy Lube Live/Bristow,VA)\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
