He/She will maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitary conditions of the facility. This position is part-time. Sunday-Tuesday evenings. Immediate start available.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\nHelps to maintain clean and sanitary conditions inside and outside the venue.\n\nCleans and sanitizes all areas of the building including, restrooms, foyer, office spaces, kitchen, and main activity areas.\n\nCompletes daily tasks (trash removal, recycling, restrooms, cleans public surface areas in food court, etc)\n\nCompletes weekly or monthly projects (vacuuming carpets, mop and polish floors, windows and dusting as needed).\n\nRestocks products such as soaps, paper products, deodorizers, and sprays.\n\nMaintains supply of cleaning chemicals, tools, and related items.\n\nMaintains a log of any repair items detected and report to Operations Supervisor.\n\nFollows oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.\n\nMay assist other Operations Department staff set up and take down special event equipment and materials.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nThis position is currently part-time, (24-28 hours per week) but may transition to full time if needed.\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Previous experience as janitor, custodian, day porter, or domestic cleaner will be beneficial.\nSkills and Abilities\nGood oral and written communication skills; must maintain a neat appearance; must be dependable, self- motivated, and responsible. Must have stable work history and ability to work to a high standard.\nOther Qualifications\nMust be able to work an irregular schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays for special events. Must be able to pass a US criminal background check.
