Join us!\nTHE ROLE\nGrand Rapids, MI is seeking a self-motivated, passionate, talented and savvy entertainment industry professional to join the team as a Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Department in the strategy, development, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns to communicate with guests, engage the community and build brand recognition for Van Andel Arena, DeVos Performance Hall, DeVos Place, Acrisure Amphitheater and Amway Stadium. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the digital media landscape, excellent copywriting and graphic design skills, excellent attention to detail, and will work closely with members of the Marketing team.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist with managing social media platforms for Van Andel Arena, DeVos Performance Hall, DeVos Place, Acrisure Amphitheater and Amway Stadium, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more.\nCreate, capture, schedule and publish platform-specific social media content regularly as well as engage with fans in the digital space.\nCreate dynamic social media content including writing copy, designing rich graphics, capturing photo content and shooting/editing short videos.\nAssist with the development and execution of the Grand Opening marketing campaign for Amway Stadium, including project management, reporting, partner/community outreach, social media and more.\nManage Google Analytics accounts and track trends/traffic.\nCreate, execute and evaluate e-mail blasts using MailChimp, Ticketmaster and Klaviyo platforms.\nPrepare social media and e-mail performance summaries and reports, and track social media engagement across all platforms.\nAssist with the creation and implementation of event promotions with community partners to increase visibility and interest in current events with the goal of selling tickets and supporting the local community.\nAssist with the creation and distribution of press releases.\nManage media requests for day of show media coverage by working with artists’ publicists on approvals and communicating with local media photographers.\nServe as an on-site representative for designated events. Duties may include escorting media, patron experience activations and fan communication through social media.\nAssist with coordination of gifts and welcome materials for entertainers and guests.\nRegularly review the venues’ websites, ensuring all information is updated and accurate for best guest experience.\nAll other duties/responsibilities as assigned.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis role does not have any supervisory responsibilities\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
