Reporting into the centralized Transformation Office, this role embeds with business owners to turn ambiguous challenges into integrated plans, business cases, financial models, and sustainable operating practices. Working across business units and corporate functions, the Director materially shapes the work, accelerates decisions, and helps Legends Global deliver measurable enterprise value.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)\nInitiative Delivery, Execution & Transition\nEmbed with accountable business owners and drive assigned initiatives to completion against defined success criteria, outcomes, and timelines.\nOwn the weekly operating cadence, integrated work plan, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and escalations, holding action owners to agreed dates and quality standards without formal authority.\nContribute directly to the analysis and work products that unlock progress, then transition completed initiatives into sustainable normal-course processes, controls, and operating rhythms.\nProblem Structuring, Business Cases & Value Realization\nStructure ambiguous problems into hypothesis-driven plans with clear scope, deliverables, owners, timelines, dependencies, and decision points.\nBuild business cases, financial and scenario models, and current- and future-state process maps that quantify costs, benefits, ROI, trade-offs, resource requirements, and control points.\nProduce concise, decision-ready materials for Executive Leadership and partner with Finance to track and validate realized savings and business value against the original case.\nRisk, Prioritization & Cross-Functional Leadership\nMaintain initiative risk and dependency visibility, monitor health, and surface blockers early with a clear ask, options, and a recommendation.\nFlag resource conflicts and trade-offs across initiatives and contribute to portfolio prioritization based on urgency, business risk, strategic importance, value unlock, and execution readiness.\nAlign senior leaders, business-unit operators, corporate functions, external advisors, and the change management team so recommendations reflect operating realities and adoption is built in from the start.\nWHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)\n5-7 years of progressive experience in operations, finance, strategy, or transformation, with a track record of owning measurable outcomes in a business setting.\nHands-on operating experience with direct accountability for a business metric, departmental budget, or P&L, including forecasting, variance analysis, spend approval, and cost control.\nDemonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical plans by building business cases, modeling financial impacts, mapping processes, and identifying dependencies and blockers.\nStrong financial acumen and modeling capability across P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, savings, ROI, and scenario analysis.\nProven ability to lead complex cross-functional work and influence senior executives and peers without formal authority.\nExceptional written and verbal communication, including concise executive materials and clear, candid escalation of issues and recommendations.\nPreferred experience in operating companies, management consulting, corporate strategy, restructuring, transaction advisory, FP&A, or high-growth business operations and strategy.\nExperience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, venue operations, live events, food and beverage, multi-site services, or investor- or lender-backed environments is a plus.\nKEY LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES\nEnterprise alignment: Builds credibility across operators and executives, translates between business units and corporate functions, and moves competing priorities toward clear decisions.\nOwnership and accountability: Operates independently with sound judgment, a bias to action, and the candor to hold leaders and teams to outcomes, dates, and quality standards.\nPractical problem solving: Rolls up sleeves to shape the work, pressure-test assumptions, and turn analysis into repeatable practices that improve performance and create measurable value.\nMEASURES OF SUCCESS\nAssigned initiatives meet their completion criteria and definitions of success on the agreed timeline.\nBlockers and dependencies are escalated before they delay the work, with an ask, options, and a recommendation attached.\nBusiness cases, models, and process maps are trusted by executives and Finance and are used to make decisions.\nInitiative Leaders and Executive Sponsors report that the Director materially accelerated and improved the work.\nValue created is validated against the business case, and each initiative transitions cleanly into normal course.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL\nOffice-based role with regular computer use; candidates should be based in the New York Metro area, preferably, or Dallas.\nFrequent travel is required to support business operations and in-person needs, including working sessions, business reviews, and venue visits.\nMust be able to work responsively across business units, corporate functions, executives, external advisors, and consultants as initiative needs require.\nAt Legends Global, our people power every success.
