Other duties may be assigned.\nStage plates and setup breakdown area prior to events.\nAssist FOH prior to events as needed\nMaintains sanitary and safe work environment.\nAlways maintains clean dry floors and walls, including sweeping and mopping.\nScrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.\nWashes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks.\nSegregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.\nSteam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.\nTransfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.\nHelp keep all China, Glass, and Silver in place, along with keeping the Banquet storage areas stocked and orderly.\nHelp with light prep cooking and plating up.\nAssist with proper food storage and rotation.\nReport to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance and grooming must conform to TCC dress code.\nKeep track of the cleaning supply usages and inform Chef when supplies are getting low.\nClearly communicates with Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.\nResponsible for being able to communicate well with team members while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.\nMust be able to follow direction given by the Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Stooping and lifting is also required. Will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Must be able to lift 30 pounds to the waist.\nWorking Conditions: Fast-paced, very physical environment. May be exposed to extreme cold from walk-in coolers/freezers for up to one hour at a time. May be exposed to extreme heat from hot burners and/or steam for extended periods of time. May be exposed to minimal amount of smoke for extended periods of time.
