The Legends Global Way guides how we operate: Align, Scale, Connect, Team, Win - shared success, repeatable systems, connected solutions, unstoppable teams, and wins that are earned every day.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nThe General Manager is responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the venue’s operations including, but not limited to, concessions, retail, catering, and premium services. The GM functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of hospitality and managing the operation, including guest experience, event innovation, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to key stakeholders. The GM will ensure implementation of the level of hospitality associated with Legends Global with the objective of exceeding guest expectations and increased profits.\nThis role holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and guides their individual professional development.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)\nUphold Legends Global standards for quality and performance in all phases of the food and beverage operations.\nConstantly innovating the guest experience - food, service, communications, etc. Balancing creativity with practical implementation.\nManaging the operational budget, monthly P&L statements, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate.\nMaintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with the client and business partners.\nOverseeing management team, including developing talent, promoting from within, coaching, and performance management.\nDeveloping yearly operational budgets that result in a fiscally sound operation - including product levels and pricing.\nOverseeing monthly inventories for all departments.\nVerifying, preparing, and submitting reports/monthly projections as required.\nEnsuring unit compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, employment and EEO guidelines.\nPerforming additional related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.\nEstablish uniform plan and supply.\nOrchestrate soft opening events.\nWHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)\nThe ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years management experience in the contract foodservice industry, preferably in for a sports and entertainment venue.\nIdeal candidates must have experience in high volume, foodservice accounts, preferably in concessions or premium services for a sport and/or entertainment venue, with experience overseeing the sale of alcohol.\nMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.\nPrevious P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and POS Systems is required.\nStrong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.\nMust be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL\nThis is an onsite role based at LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, CA\nThis role carries a non traditional schedule that may require you to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the business.\nAt Legends Global, our people power every success. This role is also bonus eligible.
