Other rates may be applicable based on job duties assigned.\nGeneral Summary of Position\nThis is a skilled labor position for the oversight, set-up maintenance and operation of the facility and sound related equipment, responsible to maintain safe industry practices and to complete tasks directed by Venue & Production Management as well as show/event management.” During events, this position acts as a liaison between the road and House crews and assists in providing venue information to show management, building management and crews to ensure successful events. This position is also required to operate high lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as requested. Additional responsibilities and tasks are assigned as directed by event request.\nThe Company recognizes the Local as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Company who are classified as Stagehands, whether they are employed fulltime or intermittently, but excluding all other employees including guards and supervisors as defined in the national Labor Relations Act, as amended.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\n\nReview event needs and determine equipment necessary to accommodate.\nCommunicate with clients as required for both upcoming and current events.\nSupervise crews as needed during load in/out and shows.\nLearn and execute show cues as directed.\nMaintain a safe working environment by conforming to established safety policies and procedures.\nDocument repairs completed and needed repairs for management review.\nAttend event and safety meetings as required.\nAssist with reviewing and verifying on-call time sheets and the accurate fulfillment of labor calls\nTrack daily duties, review event related emails and phone correspondence\nParticipate in ongoing training, safety, cross training of facilities, other departments and other trainings as determined.\nAssist in coordinating and supervising on-call stagehands\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nTo be successful in this position, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Some college course work, preferred\nThree years or more of experience in supervisory role in related field, required \nSkills and Abilities\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relations with clients and staff and communicate in a clear and concise manner in stressful situations.\nGeneral knowledge of production audio, rigging, electrical, lighting safety and procedures.\nKnowledge of RR truck loading & unloading, welding, painting, and carpentry skill is a plus.\nDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele.
