Join us!\nTHE ROLE\nUnder general supervision, performs routine housekeeping work while cleaning and caring for the facility building.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned. These include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing and waxing.\nEmpty trash and wastebaskets. Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas.\nMake minor repairs such as painting, patching and replacing light fixtures and filters, when applicable.\nAssist with event set-up, tear-down and clean-up.\nClean restrooms and replenish supplies.\nMust have the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and polite manner. This will include initiating contact with guests within 10 feet - i.e., smiling, saying “Good Day” or helping when needed.\nMust feel comfortable when around large groups or speaking to a guest, as needed\nUnderstands the importance of providing customer service and in understanding of “The Magic is in the Details”\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo be competitive applicants should have high school diploma or equivalent and significant related experience. \nPrior experience in cleaning and janitorial duties.\nAble to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays. \nSkills, Abilities and Physical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
