Bring a lunch date to sample world-class cuisine or push your ideas further with flawless business services.\nTHE ROLE\nThe Purchasing Supervisor supports daily Food & Beverage operations by coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and ensuring timely product availability. This position works closely with the entire Food & Beverage leadership team to maintain product quality, control costs, and oversee the proper storage, rotation, and distribution of supplies.\nESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCoordinate daily purchasing needs with Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to support café, restaurant, and special event operations.\nPrepare and submit approved orders to suppliers in accordance with established purchasing procedures, product specifications, and authorization requirements.\nMonitor inventory levels, usage patterns, and anticipated operational needs to recommend appropriate order quantities and minimize shortages, excess stock, and spoilage.\nCoordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and internal teams to ensure products are available when needed.\nReview product availability, pricing, and proposed substitutions with the Purchasing Manager, escalating discrepancies or concerns before orders are finalized.\nVerify purchase orders, delivery documentation, and vendor invoices for accuracy; coordinate resolution of quantity, quality, pricing, credit, and delivery discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records, inventory documentation, and product specifications.\nCode and route invoices to the appropriate outlet for payment processing in accordance with established procedures.\nConduct scheduled inventory counts, investigate variances, and report findings to the Purchasing Manager.\nCoordinate with the Culinary team to ensure proper product storage, labeling, rotation, and distribution.\nEnsure refrigerated, dry, and remote storage areas remain clean, organized, secure, and compliant with established food safety standards.\nSupport the Purchasing Manager in evaluating suppliers, maintaining approved product specifications, and identifying opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and control costs.\nCommunicate product shortages, delayed deliveries, and other supply concerns promptly to affected departments.\nPerform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required by leadership.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupervise assigned purchasing, clerical, and porter staff, coordinating daily assignments to support purchasing, inventory, storage, and product distribution needs.\nTrain and coach team members on established procedures, documentation requirements, food safety practices, and storage standards.\nMonitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to company procedures; address concerns promptly and provide performance feedback to the Purchasing Manager.\nCoordinate team priorities with Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to support daily operations and scheduled events.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
