Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on site.\nHandle any disturbances or problems that arise during event or at the facility. If necessary, escort disruptive individual(s) to security office and/or off the premises.\nWrite incident reports and meet with security supervisor to review.\nInspect alarms and fire extinguishers/sprinkler systems to ascertain they are set to Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.\nTour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.\nAssist with crowd control inside and outside of the facility.\nControl unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.\nRespond immediately to emergency situations -- answer alarms and investigate.\nAssist departments when handling large sums of high valued items\nAct in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered.\nWhen necessary, document all shipping and keep record of all keys, radios and other facility equipment that are signed.\nOperates Command Center at an efficient level.\nUtilizes CCTV and Access Control system to set door schedules based off of building and Event needs.\nHas a neat, professional appearance and comes to work in complete and clean assigned uniform.\nComes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if needed)\nBe courteous, respectful, and responsive to the general public, customers and clients.\nProject positive and confident professional attitude\nCustomer Service to the highest level\nMaintain the highest standards of business ethics.\nOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has limited supervisory responsibilities. Rarely lift/push/pull objects weighting up to 50 with or without assistance.\nAbility to operate security equipment.\nManual dexterity - Regularly required to use hands, to finger, handle or feel to handle building keys and open doors.\nReach with hands\nClimb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl to access different parts of the facility.\nVisual acuity -- due to the possibility of spending long periods of time viewing security monitors.\nMay be exposed to moderate to extreme.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nProficient computer skills including the ability to operate computers and security monitors.\nOperate a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office\nHOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS\nTravel negligible.\nShifts vary -- Required to work any shift needed over the weekends including over nights on the weekends.
