LEGENDS GLOBAL x UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI

The University of Miami and Legends Global (a global premium-experiences company) began a formal marketing-partnership relationship in April 2021 and in December 2023 expanded that relationship into a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind arrangement covering nearly all Hurricane revenue streams - sponsorships/partnerships, ticketing, multimedia rights, merchandise, Watsco Center venue management, fundraising/annual-fund efforts, off-campus retail, and campus-wide marketing assets. The expanded deal places Legends in a central roledriving revenue strategy and execution for UM athletics while creating a dedicated team led by the Chief Revenue Officer, Hurricanes Sales & Partnerships.

THE ROLE

TheSenior Manager, Engagementof Hurricane Club collaborates on the strategy, operations, donor engagement, and member experience for the Hurricane Club, with a primary focus on managing the Golden Canes Society and cultivating relationships with high-level donors. This position ensures exceptional membership service, benefit fulfillment, events, and engagement while identifyingopportunities to grow membership and philanthropic revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Golden Canes Society & Donor Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations and member experience of the Golden Canes Society.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Golden Canes and high-level Hurricane Club donors.

• Lead donor stewardship, engagement, retention, renewals, and upgrade efforts.

• Coordinate donor communications, recognition, and VIP experiences.

• Identifyopportunities to increase membership and philanthropic support.

Hurricane Club Operations

• Oversee operations for all Hurricane Club membership levels.

• Manage fulfillment of membership benefits, gifts, credentials, hospitality, parking, and other member benefits.

• Maintain accuratemembership records and coordinate with ticketing, development, and internal development teams.

• Establish efficient processes to ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience.

Events & Experiences

• Plan and execute Hurricane Club and Golden Canesevents, receptions, gameday experiences, and donor trips.

• Manage event logisticsincluding invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, transportation, catering, staffing, and communications.

• Develop new events and VIP experiences that strengthen donor engagement and membership value.

Membership Growth & Strategy

• Develop strategies to increase membership, retention, upgrades, and revenue.

• Collaborate with marketing and development on membership campaigns and communications.

• Identifyand implement new membership initiatives, campaigns, and donor engagement opportunities.

• Track membership and revenue performance and report results to leadership.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Serve as a key representative of the Hurricane Club within Miami Athletics.

• Collaborate with development, ticketing, premium sales, marketing, communications, facilities, and other departments.

• Represent the Hurricane Club at games, donor events, and University functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong donor relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience managing events, membership programs, or high-level clients/donors preferred.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and athletic events as needed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor'sdegree required.

• 3-5years of experience in athletics, fundraising, membership, premium sales/service, hospitality, events, or related fields.
