Join us to make legends happen!\n Responsibilities:\nSuite Bartenders are responsible for delivering positive and engaging guest experience by accurately preparing and serving beverages to guests and serves in a friendly and efficient manner. This role operates in a non-cash environment and utilizes electronic Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions.\nUtilize high quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices to create sensational drinks for guests\nGreet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests\nMix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards\nMaintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages\nProvide information on wine characteristics, evaluate guests needs, make appropriate suggestions and serve wine using proper wine service techniques\nWork with culinary team to create mixers and garnishes for beverages\nCheck identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol\nHandle an assigned bank and follow all cash handling procedures\nCollect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts\nEnsure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies\nServe food items to guests seated at the bar\nDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions\nMaintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed\nKeep work area clean and organized\nOrganize Catering Storage Areas\nAttend mandatory meetings\nPerform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.\nComplete other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications:\nAbility to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidays \nExperience as a bartender for at least two years - VERIFIABLE REFERENCES\nExtensive knowledge of drink recipes.\nKnow how to create and execute one of a kind drinks.\nMust be able to create and serve drinks in a timely manner\nExtensive knowledge of wines\nMust maintain personal hygiene and a well groomed appearance standards\nAbility to work independently or in a team during set up and execution of service\nWillingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations\nAbility to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor\nMust have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.\nMust be personable, friendly and welcoming.\nAbility to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.\nAbility to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.\nAbility to transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.\nMust have state and local health requirements for food handlers/ ServSafe and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificates\n\nMust have verifiable Bartending certificate / completed bartending school\nCompensation: $18.60ph\nUnion Membership:\nThis position is represented by Unite Here Local 11.
