Join us!\nThe Role\nThe Ticket Seller is responsible for ticket sales for shows or events by performing the following duties.\nEssential Duties and Responsabilities\nOpens and or closes ticket window as required.\nAccurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes changes accurately.\nMaintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computers for count of computer printed tickets.\nCompletes daily ticket sales report. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office supervisor or manager for audit.\nFills reservations for seats by telephone or mail, handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties as assigned by supervisor.\nDemonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance. \nEfficiently and courteously answer questions concerning prices, seating, and events. Gives information concerning coming attractions.\nFiles various records and reports. Performs related to clerical work as assigned. \nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh School Degree\nOr 1-year related experience and/or training\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience\nCustomer service background preferred\nundefinedSkills and Abilities Good communications skills. Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions. Good math skills; high aptitude for figures Good customer service skills and sense of public relationsMust have professional attitude and appearanceBasic Knowledge of English languageMust be able to pass a criminal background check and a credit checkAbility to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays, as needed Note ASM reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
