The Ticket Seller under direct supervision, processes single ticket sales, exchanges, and tax credits at the facility's box office. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.\n\nEssential Duties\nGreet and assist the public courteously in person.\nAccurately manage and account for ticket inventory.\nAssist customers with ticketing issues and resolve complaints professionally.\nMaintain professional and polite relationships with co-workers, clients, and the public.\nKeep work areas organized, clean, and professional.\nSupport the Box Office Manager and Team Leader with additional duties as needed.\nAdhere to all Box Office policies and procedures.\nAssist customers with Will Call tickets for events.\nProvide accurate information regarding events, tickets, and upcoming schedules in person or over the phone.\nReconcile card transaction balances and receipts with the Team Leader or Manager at the end of each shift.\nCreate and maintain event floor enumeration for all types of events.\nDemonstrate basic knowledge of credit and debit card processing.\nUse Microsoft programs (Excel & Word) effectively.\nOperate event scanners with basic proficiency.\nPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nEducation and Experienc e\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; diploma preferred.\nProven experience in customer service and computer operations.\nAdditional Experience\nExperience using ticketing platforms such as Ticketera and Vivenue is\nhighly desirable.\nSkills and Abilitie s\nBilingual in English and Spanish.\nStrong communication skills with the public and team members.\nAbility to solve problems quickly and effectively.\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions accurately.\nBasic knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).\nCommitment to excellent customer service and maintaining a clientoriented\nattitude.\nAbility to multitask and manage different duties simultaneously.\nWorking Conditions\nWork schedule is based on the facility’s needs; part-time hours.\nPrimarily weekend shifts; flexibility required for occasional Friday\nevents.\nAbility to stand for long periods.\nMust have reliable transportation and arrive to work as scheduled.\nAbility to work long or irregular hours depending on event functions.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure.\nNOTE:\nThe essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
