This is a flex position (not full time). Weekly hours are not consistent or guaranteed (i.e., you can be scheduled a few shifts a week, or there could be weeks where you are not scheduled at all). We are looking for candidates that do not have restrictions for being scheduled to work in this position. Weekly schedules come out on Wednesdays for the following week (starting Monday).\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nReport to post in full uniform and ready to work.\nOversee and institute daily driveway and ramp status.\nAssure smooth traffic flow at the loading ramps and driveways.\nDirect all deliveries to appropriate receiving points.\nMonitor assigned or permitted parking spaces and assure that there is no traffic or /parking congestion or unauthorized vehicles on the ramps or in the driveways.\nPrevent unauthorized personnel from entering the facility through the ramps, and check credentials or identification of persons walking down the ramps, as directed by management.\nMaintain necessary records of ramp activity. Log in all vehicles entering the facility through the ramps, and check credentials or identification of persons walking down the ramps.\nAssure that vehicle passes are completed in full and placed inside the vehicle windshield.\nProvide guests and clients with facility information.\nAll other duties as assigned by manager.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nFlexible hours including nights and weekends\nAbility to listen and follow instructions\nAbility to work well with the public\nAbility to work with and get along with other employees\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and agility test.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:\nWork requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force\nWork is generally performed in a moderately noisy location\nThis position requires substantial long periods of time standing up and walking\nWorker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions extreme cold, heat, and rain\nAble to withstand large crowds\nNOTE: The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
