The role supports the Director, Operations in delivering consistent, high-quality service, managing labor and inventory performance, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)\nEnsure the control procedures are being used for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining this supply system. \nCoordinate all warehousing activities with management team and warehouse team, scheduling, payroll and monitoring the labor cost and effective use of employees. \nReceive store and distribute supplies and equipment in large, centralized warehousing operations and make sure they are delivered to the stands/pods prior to game day. \nUse storage systems, policies and procedures to ensure maximum use and efficiency of space and storage areas in warehousing operations. \nSubmit reports of damage, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendors, etc. \nContact vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies, shortages, shipments or to arrange for emergency shipments or requisitions. \nEnsure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. \nPerform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. \nMeets warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Also resolves problems and identifies warehouse system improvements.\nOversee the movement of inventory to and from warehouse and coordinates inventory transfers with related departments.\nDelivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.\nMaintains storage area by organizing floor space, adheres to storage design principles, and recommends improvements.\nMaintains inventory by conducting daily/monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputs data.\nUtilizes Yellow Dog Inventory System to record and track inventory flow between departments and perpetual inventories.\nKeeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.\nEnsure safety and health standards are recorded and maintained daily.\nOther duties as assigned by Senior Management \nWHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)\nAbility to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; has strong abilities to organize people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow\nCan manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order.\nIs very detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and/or in a team environment\nMust have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree.\n2-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, food and beverage, or hospitality environment.\nExcellent customer service.\nStrong technical skills, ability to create spreadsheets and planograms for storing and stocking.\nCan be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization.\nStrong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships.\nResponds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL\nWork Location: On Site\nLocation/Venue: Etihad Park - NYCFC\nFlexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on stadium events, matches, and concert schedules. \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
