If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.\nAs a Branch Controller you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of month end closing and other accounting functions. You will also be heavily engaged in a variety of operational and cross-functional discussions to drive the business to greater results. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting the financial functions for our locations in Carthage, MO and Winchester, KY. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Branch Controller?\nCollaborate across Bedding Segment to maintain consistent business processes\nReview and verify accuracy of financial statements\nMaintain compliance with policy and procedures and assist with Internal Audit visits/requests\nManage and complete the month-end close process\nDevelop relationships with Branch personnel to provide support and information sharing on a regular basis as appropriate\nFulfill requests of Corporate Departments (Accounting, Tax, Risk, Credit, etc.)\nComplete/oversee costing of inventory\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\n5+ years of accounting experience, preference in manufacturing\nExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail\nUnderstanding of Cost Accounting and methodologies\nA self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines\nAbility to communicate key data and insight to others within the Branch and Bedding organization\nStrong Excel skills and the ability to convert data to information\nHigh degree of professionalism and ethical standards\nThings we consider a plus:\nMaster’s degree.\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
