With more than 50 locations across North America, Hanes Companies is a leading distributor and converter of industrial textiles, environmentally friendly geosynthetics, erosion-control products, and stabilization products used in the construction industry. This role will serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, with an active presence on the plant floor and responsibility for supporting a broad range of human resources functions.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities:\nServe as the primary HR resource for employees and managers at the Winston-Salem facility and assigned branch locations.\nBuild strong relationships with plant leadership and employees to help foster a positive, productive work environment.\nManage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.\nFacilitate new-hire orientation and coordinate onboarding for employees and temporary workers.\nProvide guidance on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, attendance concerns, and policy interpretation.\nSupport the administration of FMLA, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, employee benefits, and employee engagement programs.\nAssist managers with coaching, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and documentation of employee matters.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.\nMaintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS data.\nSupport HR reporting, workforce planning, and broader organizational initiatives.\nParticipate in safety programs, training efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.\nPartner with leadership to strengthen retention, employee development, and workplace culture.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, benefits administration, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.\nExperience supporting performance management and conducting employee investigations.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.\nAbility to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and human resources information systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.\nEqual Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer\nHanes Companies is a people-first organization dedicated to providing a complete benefits package for our employees and their families.
