If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.\nAs a Maintenance Manager you will have the opportunity to oversees all equipment and facility maintenance within the facility and ensures that the facility, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing goods and materials run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming/PLCs). Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing strong leadership skills over the maintenance team and budget/cost reporting. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Manager?\nPerform routine building inspections. Evaluates conditions, then generates work assignments as needed to maintain building in serviceable condition\nMonitors work completion and performance by contractors\nEvaluate safety and manufacturing improvement programs\nImplement and maintain preventative maintenance programs in all areas\nParticipate in environmental projects as needed\nInsure ISO compliance in maintenance related areas\nMonitor all internal systems for accuracy and compliance with company goals and expectations.\nProvides technical consultation on specific facility engineering problems\nMake recommendations to correct problems that could hinder a machine's performance, reduce output, or affect quality\nConform to all Quality/Safety requirements and procedures\nEnsure a clean and orderly workplace is kept\nParticipate and encourage participation in the Continuous Quality Improvement process\nConfer with management, production, and plant staff to discuss project specifications and procedures\nCoordinate and direct projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities, and communicate objectives with all department managers\nAnalyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects\nPlan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment\nKnow and understand all company policies\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:\nSix years of experience in plant maintenance, facilities maintenance and management, including special emphasis on project management and supervision.\nKnowledge of plant/facilities engineering management techniques; construction and design of buildings and facilities system modifications; knowledge of building and safety codes and energy conservation techniques.\nTechnical capability and understanding\nUnderstanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning, lean manufacturing\nProfit and Loss responsibilities for maintenance\nUnderstanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain\nAbility to provide leadership and direction to employees; interact effectively with others; write clear, concise reports; design and administer complex facilities projects; provide in-house training of personnel; be flexible in work assignments.\nThings we consider a plus:\nManufacturing or Engineering degree or HND, BTec professional level 5 award or equivalent NVQ level 5 qualification.\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
