Perform time studies, process balancing and develop process flow.Develop contingency plans for high-risk manufacturing assets and tools.\nResponsibilities:\nEvaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement\nConfer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status\nProficiency with SMED events, workflow time studies, and process balancing\nDraft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency\nCommunicate with management and develop standard operating procedures (SOP)\nDevelop process flow for each product \nRegulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations\nLearn and develop NoMuda Visual Factory software expertise and implement it throughout the plant.\nProvide training to operators for using Visual Factory software on the shop floor\nGenerate high-level reports for Visual Factory and create and/or update technical documentation.\nPerform capacity analysis and contingency planning\nEvaluate operators’ tasks and steps based on process flows, and identify procedures or tools to improve productivity\nPerform Continuous Improvement activities and other duties to support the needs of the business.\nRequirements:\nBS in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field\n2+ years of experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or similar role(s)\nExcellent mathematical and problem-solving skills and communication\nProficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs\nStrong attention to detail and quality\nAbility to work independently and closely follow directions\nAbility to learn and use Visual Factory software and Visual Infor (ERP System)\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
