If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives. \n\nAs Operations Buyer, you will be responsible forprovidingsupport to Operations with issues related to external suppliers and\nwill support the category teams with the implementation of strategy initiatives. The Operations Buyer is also\naccountable to support operations with indirect procurement needs, which are not covered by regional indirect procurement contracts. \nWhat will you be doing as an Operations Buyer?\nImplement regional indirect procurement contracts within the assigned plant and manage all indirect purchases not covered by regional agreements. \nOversee commercial activities-including negotiation and implementation-related to engineering changes impacting serial production parts after Phase 5 sign-off. \nSupport Category Management in executing Commodity strategies and productivity initiatives. \nManage supplier performance in coordination with the Commodity Manager, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery. \nProvide procurement input for the plant’s Supplier Scorecard. \nServe as the plant’s first escalation point for issues involving external suppliers. \nMaintain accurate serial pricing in the plant ERP system, including initiating and monitoring price updates throughout the product lifecycle. \nQualifications:\nCompleted technical or business degree with strong technical aptitude, or equivalent education. \n1-3 Years of professional experience in international Procurement and technical products in the Automotive industry\nStrong communication and negotiation skills. \nAbility to work under pressure with a solution-oriented, result-driven approach. \nFluency in English; additional languages (including local languages) are an asset. \nProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools. \nBasic understanding of commercial contract law. \nCustomer-focused mindset with strong adherence to deadlines. \nFoundational knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 processes. \nBasic knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret and analyze CBDs. \nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
