If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.\nAs Production Associate you will be responsible for sets up and controls operation of single or multiple production machines for the process of manufacturing products. Must work overtime when necessary. Must be able to work in teams on continuous improvement projects.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Production Associate?\nThe job is a standing/sitting job requiring the operation of a molding machine. The machine processes molding of formed wire to form seating components.\nThe operator is responsible for producing quality product and must be able to identify such. If necessary, the operator must be able to notify appropriate person to fix machine.\nPerforms any other duties required in pursuance of the function of this position or as directed.\nTrouble shoot molding problems.\nStart molding machines; Set molds in machines; Properly hangs molds; Properly water molds.\nChange nozzles, nozzle tips, nozzle bands and barrel bands.\nBasic knowledge of hand tools and use\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need\nSufficient dexterity and mechanical understanding to operate an automated machine.\nAbility to understand instruction both verbal and written. This includes the ability with proper training to follow construction blueprints and document ongoing processes.\nSufficient aptitude to identify proper product quality.\nAbility to lift objects not to exceed 70 pounds.\nAbility to roll drums weighing 500 pounds.\nBasic understanding of and full compliance with all standard safety practices.\nThe willingness to be involved in ongoing skills improvement classes and efforts of which are included TS-16949, Kaizen, and SMED.\nMonday to Thursday from 4:45 pm to 3:15 am or from 6:45 pm to 5:15 am\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
