If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.\nAs an Program Buyer (m/f/d) you will serve as the central link between suppliers, category management, and cross-functional program teams, ensuring program success in terms of cost, quality, timing, and performance.\nAdditionally, you’ll:\nLead all purchasing activities for assigned development and customer programs\nExecute global category strategies within your programs in close collaboration with Category Management\nEnsure the successful achievement of key program targets, including cost, quality, timing, and service requirements\nPrepare and present sourcing recommendations for review and approval by the Sourcing Committee\nNegotiate and implement supplier agreements while effectively managing commercial and supply chain risks\nAct as the primary interface between suppliers and internal program teams throughout the product development lifecycle\nCollaborate with Category Management to involve suppliers early in the development process and identify cost optimization and value engineering opportunities\nMonitor program costs, timelines, and supplier performance in partnership with Supplier Development and other key stakeholders\nProvide regular updates, market insights, and purchasing expertise to the program core team\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:\nDegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification with a strong technical understanding\nMinimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management of technical products, ideally within the automotive industry\nStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment\nProven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in terms of cost, quality, and timing\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier cost structures (including cost breakdown analysis)\nFamiliarity with automotive quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data-driven decision-making tools\nFluent English and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%)\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
