Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business bymonitoring the quality performance of the supply base, drive improvement in supplier performance andimprove our internal processes through continuous improvement. The team you will be working with iscollaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.\n.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?\nManaging the quality performance of the supply base by monitoring & reporting PPM performance ofkey suppliers.\nCommunicating PPAP requirements to suppliers on engineering changes or new products, managingPPAP promise dates and approving supplier PPAPs.\nMonitoring scrap rates, identifying excellent, moderate and problem suppliers, completing supplierassessments if necessary, developing an improvement plan with suppliers to improve performance,monitoring progress.\nAssist in the development and approval of incoming inspection plans.\nPerforming internal audits of products and processes, identifying corrective actions and drivingcompletion of the actions.\nIdentifying potential VA/VE projects and working with a cross-functional team to completion.\nWork to bring internal business processes to an ISO 9000-compliant level and maintain that complaintlevel through participation in internal auditing and internal documentation development.\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need: Five years minimum as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing setting\nExperience in managing and driving projects.\nSix Sigma green belt or black belt certification\nExperience in internal auditing\nThings we consider a plus:\nBS in a technical discipline\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
