The Quality team works closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure product excellence, drive continuous improvement, and support customer satisfaction through robust quality management systems and manufacturing processes.\nIn This Role:\nAs a Quality Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll work alongside experienced quality professionals to analyze processes, investigate quality concerns, monitor performance metrics, and help implement solutions that enhance product quality and operational efficiency. This internship is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in developing a strong foundation in quality systems and manufacturing excellence.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Quality Intern?\nAssist with quality inspections, audits, and verification activities throughout the manufacturing process.\nSupport the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data, including defect rates, process capability metrics, and customer quality performance indicators.\nParticipate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to quality issues.\nHelp maintain quality documentation, work instructions, control plans, inspection records, and standard operating procedures.\nAssist in monitoring compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations.\nSupport internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving process consistency.\nCollaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities for quality enhancement.\nAssist with product testing, measurement activities, and validation of corrective actions.\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving, and operational excellence projects.\nHelp prepare quality reports, presentations, and performance dashboards for management review.\nObserve and follow all company safety, environmental, and quality policies.\nOther duties as assigned.\nTo be successful in this role, you'll need:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nBasic understanding of quality principles and manufacturing processes.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nInterest in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence.\nStrong initiative and willingness to learn from hands-on experiences.\nAbility to work onsite at L&P Guangdong Zhaoqing L&V Co. Ltd. in Zhaoqing, China.\nThings we consider a plus:\nExposure to manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments through coursework, projects, or previous internships.\nFamiliarity with quality tools such as Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Why Analysis, SPC, or FMEA.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, or quality requirements.\nUnderstanding of quality management systems such as IATF 16949 or ISO 9001.\nExperience using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and quality reporting tools.\nKnowledge of data visualization and reporting software for quality analysis.\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
