Our teams blend innovation, precision engineering, and global collaboration to deliver products that enhance the driving experience.\nIn This Role:\nAs a Systems Engineer Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support the development, integration, and validation of complex automotive systems that power next-generation vehicle comfort and motion technologies. You will gain hands-on experience across the full systems lifecycle - from requirements and design to testing and validation. You will support engineering teams working on embedded systems, electromechanical components, and automotive comfort technologies.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Systems Engineer Intern?\nSystems Requirements & Documentation: Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting system requirements for automotive components and subsystems.\nSystem Architecture & Design Support: Contribute to system block diagrams, interface definitions, and design reviews.\nTesting & Validation: Support test planning, execution, and data analysis for system-level and component-level validation.\nTroubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Work with engineers to identify issues, analyze failures, and support corrective actions.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, electrical, software, and quality teams to ensure system alignment and performance.\n Modeling & Simulation (as applicable): Assist with system modeling, simulation, or analysis tools used in the design process.\nContinuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives, documentation updates, and workflow optimization.\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:\nPursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nInterest in automotive systems, embedded technologies, or electromechanical design.\nAbility to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.\nCuriosity, initiative, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced engineering setting.\nDetail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nThings we consider a plus:\nExposure to systems engineering principles (requirements, V-model, validation).\nFamiliarity with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar tools.\nExperience with CAN, LIN, or other automotive communication protocols.\nUnderstanding of basic electrical or mechanical systems.\nCoursework or project experience in embedded systems, controls, or mechatronics.\nWhat to Do Next\nNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
