Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.\nAs a Traffic Manager, you will have the opportunity to direct and oversee transportation-related operations within the branch. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring our products are reaching customers with 100% customer satisfaction. The team you will be working with is personable and values the challenging work.\nSo, what will you be doing as a Traffic Manager?\nEnsure that all employees adhere to State and Federal DOT and company safety policies\nKeep records, logs, and schedules of all the transportation vehicles and drivers that are monitored and controlled by the branch\nCoordinate the movement of all inbound/outbound equipment and freight from point of origin to destination\nConsolidate freight orders into truckloads for specific destinations\nProvide monthly branch reports as required\nResponsible for monthly inventory of finished goods.\nResponsible for the purchasing resale finished goods inventory.\nHire, train, and monitor all aspects of personnel in the traffic department\nMaintain control of department expenses\nResponsible for ensuring driver’s quarterly meetings are completed. \nComplete Purchase Requisition for any expenditure.\nunderstand contracts and capital projects in the traffic, shipping, and receiving areas of responsibility.\nWork with vendors on equipment and personnel needs.\nMonitor all aspects of employee performance\nTo be successful in this role, you’ll need:\nAt least 5 years of experience as a transportation manager in a similar industry\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations\nSolid knowledge of State and Federal DOT regulations\nExceptional leadership skills\nGeographical comprehension\nCritical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics\nGood conflict resolution skills\nunderstand contracts and capital projects in the traffic, shipping, and receiving areas of responsibility.\nSalary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
