Job responsibilities are grouped across four key areas: Technical Integrations, Customer-Centric Consulting, Legion Product Expertise, and a Commitment to One Another.\n\nPlease note that this opportunity is an overnight shift. \nExpected hours: 2230 - 0730\nThis role involves participation in on-call rotation.\nThis role may require work outside of normal business hours.\n\nTechnical Integrations\n\nDesign and implement scalable integration architectures connecting Legion with HR, POS, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.\nDesign, Build, and Test integrations using Workato\nDevelop secure and efficient REST APIs within Legion's API-driven ecosystem.\nEnsure high-performance, reliable integrations using modern cloud platforms.\nEngage with architects and engineers for design collaboration and code reviews.\nImprove development practices and stay ahead of agile software engineering trends.\n\nLegion Product Expertise\n\nGain and maintain deep knowledge of Legion's product and integration ecosystem.\nIdentify, report, and prioritize product bugs and enhancements.\nWork with core engineering and production engineering teams to improve backend reliability and troubleshoot production issues\nStay updated on new releases and enhancements to drive product adoption.\nWrite secure, enterprise-grade integration code using leading platforms and technologies.\nWrite well-designed, testable, efficient code\nContribute to all phases of the development lifecycle\nConduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.\n\nTeam Collaboration & Mentorship\n\nShare expertise and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.\nContribute to best practices for integration and internal technical documentation.\nSupport process improvements and advocate for scalable, sustainable integrations.\nCommit to high-quality work, setting personal and team objectives aligned with organizational goals.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\n7+ years of business/information/solution/technical architecture experience\nGraduate of a university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant STEM field, including Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant degree\nMust be able to work as a team player, yet can work independently.\nAnalytical, results-driven, and have a solution-oriented approach\nPossess exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills, including verbal, written presentation, and listening.\n3+ years of experience with event-driven Architecture and Microservices\nDemonstrated deep technical expertise in Integration technologies and protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC\nExperience using Linux/Unix environments\nDemonstrate proficiency with Core Java.\nExperience with Relational Databases, SQL and JDBC (one of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)\n2+ years of experience using AWS technologies such as AWS CDK, Cloud formation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2\nDemonstrate experience with test-driven development.\nStrong experience with Java/RESTful web services\nExposure to agile software development leveraging toolsets (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Jenkins)\nDemonstrate knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes and tools.\nProven track record of using problem-solving / root-cause analysis\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES\n\nThe ideal candidate has workforce management integration experience\nPreferred experience in the design and implementation of scalable integration solutions with integration platforms such as Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, SnapLogic \nProactive and able to command respect through intelligence, hard work, and persistence\nTechnical consulting experience.\nExperience of working with Docker and other isolation technologies.\nExperience working with external applications integrations end-to-end such as Workday, SAP, etc.\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\n\nAt Legion, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to all employees.
