define the next generation of SaaS.\nThe Role\nYou will play a key role in building AI-heavy product features and the technical foundation behind them.\nThis includes:\nDesigning and building full stack applications using Node.js and Next.js\n\nDeveloping AI-native product experiences\n\nImplementing and managing self-hosted LLM infrastructure\n\nExperimenting with different open-source and commercial models\n\nOptimizing inference performance, scalability, and operational costs\n\nEvaluating which models perform best for specific use cases\n\nBuilding AI orchestration layers and intelligent workflows\n\nCreating systems that combine automation, context-awareness, and real-world operational data\n\nWorking closely with product and engineering leadership on long-term platform strategy\n\nThis is not a “bolt AI onto an existing app” role.\nAI will become part of the core platform architecture.\nWhat you’ll do\nWe are looking for a senior engineer with strong product intuition and a deep curiosity for modern AI systems.\nYou should have:\nStrong experience with Node.js and modern TypeScript ecosystems\n\nExperience with Next.js and modern frontend architecture\n\nA full stack mindset and the ability to own features end-to-end\n\nExperience working with LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, or AI agents\n\nKnowledge of self-hosted/open-source models such as Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen, or similar\n\nUnderstanding of GPU workloads, inference optimization, and AI infrastructure tradeoffs\n\nExperience comparing model quality, latency, and operational cost\n\nA strong engineering mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance\n\nThe ability to move fast without creating chaos\n\nCuriosity and obsession with where software engineering is heading next\n\nBonus points if you:\nHave experience with Kubernetes or cloud-native infrastructure\n\nHave worked with vector databases and retrieval systems\n\nHave built AI copilots, autonomous workflows, or internal AI tooling\n\nHave experience fine-tuning or evaluating models\n\nHave opinions about when not to use AI\n\nRequirements\nWhat you bring\nYou are the kind
