This role builds on the Payroll Specialist position by managing higher-complexity payroll work, assisting with audits and reconciliations, and supporting issue resolution and quality review.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide advanced payroll support to clients by responding to payroll inquiries, explaining payroll results, and assisting with issue resolution in coordination with Payroll Client Managers. \nProcess and support complex payrolls, including multi-state, off-cycle, and adjusted payrolls. Review payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission. \nResearch and resolve more complex payroll discrepancies, historical adjustments, and corrections. Escalate higher-risk issues as appropriate and support root-cause analysis. \nAssist with payroll audits, register reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Support implementation of regulatory updates. \nSupport quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2s, 1099s, amended filings, and agency correspondence, under the direction of payroll leadership. \nMaintain accurate payroll system data, including earnings, deductions, tax configurations, and employee records. Assist with testing and validation related to system updates or integrations. \nSupport administration and reconciliation of payroll deductions, including garnishments, retirement contributions, and benefit premiums. \nGenerate and review payroll reports to identify discrepancies, trends, or issues. Assist in preparing client-requested and internal payroll reports. \nServe as a peer resource for Payroll Specialists by answering questions, sharing best practices, and supporting consistent payroll processes. \nContribute to payroll process improvements, documentation updates, and quality controls to increase efficiency and accuracy. \nWork closely with HR, Rewards, Digital, BPI teams to support integrated client service delivery. \nDo you have what it takes?\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accountability or Administration. \nProven working experience in Payroll, Labor Relations, HR. \nExperience with ADP, Workday, KRONOS. \nStrong hands-on experience in U.S. Payroll is required. \nAdvance Excel skills. \nFully Bilingual \nNOTE: All CVs MUST be written in English.\nCore Responsibilities:\nAnalytical, detail - and high-quality oriented \nDefine and track KPIs/metrics for payroll performance, quality and controls; use findings to implement corrective actions and improvements \nDrive ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk and increase automation in payroll operations \nLead root-cause analyses when issues occur, and implement permanent solutions (not just fixes) \nDemonstrate resilience in challenging scenarios (tight deadlines, regulatory changes, system transitions) and maintain high quality under pressure \nA proactive mind with a can-do attitude. \nFoster a high-energy, collaborative, fun environment that aligns with The LEGO Group’s culture of quality and playfulness \nPersonal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners. \n#LI-HYBRID\nApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
