As a Process Engineering Technician, you'll work alongside engineers and production teams to support new product introductions, optimize manufacturing processes, and help ensure successful implementation of innovative packaging technologies.\nCompensation & Schedule\nStarting Pay: $31.60/hr\nSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the validation of new products, technologies, and first-time production runs.\nAssist engineers in developing, testing, and implementing new or modified production processes, tools, and equipment.\nSupport engineering improvement projects and implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).\nMaintain production data, validation records, and line recipe standards.\nDocument operational control standards and verify equipment performance against engineering specifications.\nIdentify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, equipment settings, and operational efficiency.\nIdentify risks and process deviations during product and technology introductions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical production line issues to minimize downtime and quality concerns.\nAssist with defining equipment recipes, process qualifications, and production standards for new products.\nPartner with Production and Engineering teams to support successful process launches and ongoing operational performance.\nBasic Qualifications\n3-5 years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting manufacturing processes, production equipment, or engineering operations.\nWorking knowledge of process engineering principles and production equipment.\nExperience with HMI interfaces and manufacturing equipment setup.\nStrong mechanical aptitude, including spatial reasoning and understanding of basic engineering concepts.\nExperience supporting product qualifications, process validation, or equipment setup activities.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.\nAbility to work both at a computer and on the manufacturing floor as business needs require.\nStrong written communication, organization, and documentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in Mechatronics or Automation Technology.\nPackaging or packing manufacturing experience.\nExperience supporting new product introductions (NPI).\nExperience working in highly automated manufacturing environments.\nDemonstrated innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement mindset.\nSpanish language skills are a plus.\nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to support the introduction of new products, technologies, and manufacturing processes.\nExposure to advanced manufacturing and engineering projects.\nCareer growth and development opportunities within LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.\nCollaborative environment partnering with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams.\nOpportunity to contribute to process innovation and operational excellence.\nA culture built on learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nCompensation\nThe salary for this position has a range of $31.60 - $31.60 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
