We are looking for an experienced Discrete Event Simulation engineer to help drive forward our digital manufacturing plans, and support colleagues worldwide with simulation support.\nThe ideal candidate is passionate about problem solving, being part of a dynamic team, and is willing to be a key part of long term engineering and manufacturing project teams.\nCore Responsibilities:\nDesign and manage Discrete Event Simulation models of our production and logistics facilities to support new and ongoing projects, including some supplier management\nIntegrate within project teams and deliver insights and conclusions to stakeholders\nWork with the wider team and partners to help support development of simulation within the LEGO group, and drive forward our technology roadmap\nDo you have what it takes?\nExperience in delivering and managing projects using Discrete Event Simulation tools (Technomatix Plant Simulation preferred)\nExperience in Manufacturing Systems Modelling (Manufacturing & Logistics experience preferred)\nProgramming capability (Python, SQL)\nStatistical Analysis\nExperience of working in DES within a manufacturing environment\nEvidence of using Discrete Event Simulation to support decisions on investment and capacity planning\nAbility to translate complex simulations & results into real-world strategic recommendations\nStakeholder Communication & Presentation Skills\nManufacturing Process Experience\nCollaboration Skills\nApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
