Then make it real.\nAbout the role\nAs our Senior Accountant, General Ledger, you’ll manage accurate, timely and compliant accounting processes for the Americas region. During this one-year contract, you’ll support the transition and stabilization of LEGO® Discovery Center operations while strengthening general-ledger processes, controls and reporting.\nRequired Qualifications\nPerformed accounting responsibilities for 3-5 years, including booking economic transactions and preparing journal entries.\nManaged general-ledger processes, including monthly and yearly closing, for at least 2 years.\nUsed SAP or another enterprise accounting system to record and reconcile financial transactions.\nPrepared account, intercompany or bank reconciliations and translated business transactions into IFRS-compliant journal entries.\nUsed Microsoft Office tools to prepare financial analyses, recurring statements or reports.\nWorked in English at an advanced level, C1 or above, in both written and spoken settings.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUsed SAP at an advanced level to execute general-ledger accounting processes.\nHandled general-ledger accounting for stakeholders across multiple countries or regions.\nCompleted a degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or International Business.\nWhat you’ll build\nSupport the transition and stabilization of accounting operations for LEGO Discovery Centers.\nReview distribution expenses, cost of goods sold and gross profit margins during monthly and yearly closing.\nPerform key controls, identify weaknesses and recommend practical improvements.\nMaintain properly stated legal books through accurate journal entries and reconciliations.\nProvide financial data and analysis that helps business partners make informed decisions.\nImprove processes using the LEGO Continuous Improvement approach.\nIf you’ve worked in a role where you managed general-ledger closing, reconciliations and financial controls, you’ll feel at home here.
