One rotation will be in Capacity and Production Planning and another rotation will be in Import/Export.\nThe purpose of this position is to assist in the daily operations of the Planning Department to enable on time delivery of materials and production in compliance with applicable regulations & LEGO Group Policies, and within the right cost. The role will also learn about the outbound delivery of Finished Good Product to the Distribution Centers and/or components/equipment to other Production Sites.\n IMPORT/EXPORTAssist the administration and filings for LVA Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)\nMonitor in - transit movements of shipments\nCollect documentation for import and export declarations\nSupport US tariff classification and filing of US customs entries\nPayment of freight invoices\nCreate and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as customs duties costs and savings, outbound truck delivery, inbound receipts\n\n CAPACITY & PRODUCTION PLANNINGAssist in routine reporting tasks (creation / updating / summarization)\nAssist in rescheduling work centers based on movements\nReview pre-pack materials to reduce excess stock\nMaintain Planning KPIs\nConvert orders in the planning horizon\nAudit production plan for duplicate orders and changeovers\nAssist in testing new IT systems and programs\nMonitor slacks in production timing\nAdjust work center efficiency in SAP\nAssist in development and maintenance of Reporting macros in Excel \n\nRequirements\nWill Report 100% to Local Onsite\nArea of Study - Supply Chain Mgt, Logistics, Business Administration,\nYears exp - currently pursuing Bachelors or Associate Degree\n2 yr vs 4yr - No preference\nAnalyst skills, admin, Data analytics, creating reports\nAvailable in winter or summer\nMasters a Plus\nStarting Hourly Rate $24.51\nApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
