Then make it real!\nCore Responsibilities:\nAs a Senior Accountant - GL based in Prague, you'll support assigned countries across EMEA, working hands-on with General Ledger activities that keep the business running smoothly. At the LEGO Group®, you'll combine accounting knowledge, collaboration, and curiosity while helping shape a high-quality Finance organization.\nYou will also:\nPerform General Ledger postings, account clearings, and month-end closing activities for assigned entities.\nManage balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine and follow up outstanding balances.\nSupport GL Controllers for assigned countries, ensuring accurate and compliant accounting records.\nPartner with Finance colleagues, auditors, and business teams to resolve accounting issues and deliver reliable reporting.\nContribute to process improvements while maintaining controls, compliance, and high-quality financial data.\nThis is a 12-month temporary position, and no relocation assistance is available.\nPlay your part in our team succeeding\nYou'll join the General Ledger team within Business Service Operations, supporting colleagues and business partners across the EMEA region from Prague. The team works closely with Finance partners across countries and functions, delivering accurate accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities while continuing to strengthen quality, knowledge sharing, and process excellence.\nTogether, we build, rebuild and inspire through collaboration, supporting one another while continuously learning in an international environment where ideas are welcomed and acted upon.\nDo you have what it takes?\nExperience in General Ledger accounting or transferable Finance experience from AP, AR, or Record-to-Report environments.\nComfortable handling journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet activities, and month-end processes.\nHands-on SAP experience is essential, with curiosity to learn new tools and processes.\nClear English communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across countries and functions.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA.\nExposure to BlackLine, shared service centers, statutory reporting, or international accounting environments.\nApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
