As an intern, you’ll participate in developing competencies in a variety of electrical engineering specializations as they pertain to New Product Development and 3rd Party Certification.\nThe ideal Co-Op candidate is available to work onsite in Middletown, PA, Mondays through Fridays from January 2027 through end of August 2027.\n What will you do?\nDesign, build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies and products, using schematic capture and PCB layout program named Altium, various digital and analog test equipment.\nCoordinate new designs and design changes with engineering, CAD, technical writing, test engineering, and production ensuring that both product and customer documentation is correct and current.\nResearch, review, evaluate, document, and implement product improvement concepts and design enhancements to increase productivity and reduce cost. Actively participate in developing and refining product development processes and procedures. Formally recommend process improvements.\nTest prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements.\nResearch and determine requirements for electrical components and systems.\nEducation\nActively enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering or an Associate’s Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines, from an accredited institution.\nExperience\nAbility to work collaboratively on a team & have good communication skills both verbal & written\nQualifications\nMust provide own mode of transportation and housing stipend available based on distance from office.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S.\nAbout Legrand\nLegrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
