This role will assist with process mapping, time studies, production data analysis, routing development, and standard work documentation to help improve operational efficiency and support future growth. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams, the intern will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, capacity planning and Lean Manufacturing.\n What Will You Do?\nCreate and maintain process maps for manufacturing processes across product families.\nConduct shop floor observations and time studies to establish standard cycle times and labor standards.\nDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and standardized work for manufacturing operations.\nAnalyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities.\nAssist in developing and maintaining factory floor layouts, workstation designs, and material flow diagrams.\nParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.\nSupport the development of production performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.\nAssist with capacity analysis, line balancing, and staffing studies to support operational planning and efficiency improvements.\nEducation\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar areas\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar areas\nPrevious internships, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing or production environment are preferred.
