a Glance\nLegrand has an exciting opportunity for aManufacturing Engineer to join theElectrical Infrastructure division in Mascoutah, IL.\n What Will You Do?\n· Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods.\n· Lead manufacturing improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, capacity, and cost reduction.\n· Analyze production processes and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.\n· Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing and quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.\n· Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews for new and existing products.\n· Develop and validate tooling, fixtures, automation solutions, and manufacturing systems.\n· Conduct process capability studies, equipment qualifications, and process validations.\n· Manage engineering change implementation and maintain manufacturing documentation.\n· Participate in capital equipment selection, installation, and startup activities.\n· Collaborate with quality, maintenance, operations, supply chain, and product development teams.\n· Train and mentor production personnel.\n· Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.\n· Manage TPM activities, equipment spare parts, and maintenance contractor relationships to maintain reliable and efficient facility operations.\n· Perform other duties as assigned.\n Education\n· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, , Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience\n· Minimum 3 to 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\n· Experience leading process improvement projects.\n· Experience with manufacturing automation and CAD systems preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n· Thorough understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and production systems.\n· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.\n· Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.\n· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.\n· Working knowledge of process validation and statistical analysis techniques.\n· Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.\n· Strong communication and collaboration skills.\n· Proficiency with
