The Mechanical Engineer I will join the Sales Engineering team at Pinnacle Architectural Lighting to develop custom high-quality market differentiated luminaire designs. They must be able to design highly customized products that are uncompromising in quality and performance yet cost-effective, simple to assemble, install, and service while meeting the customer’s project requirements. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure each project meets deadlines, specifications, and quality standards. As part of the Sales Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer I will have the opportunity to shape the future of Pinnacle’s custom product offerings.\n What Will You Do?\nOwn product design and development to support the release of custom luminaire designs that meet the highest standard for performance, quality, cost, and safety \nUse 3D modelling design best practices to develop custom product designs that are easy to manufacture, assemble, install, and maintain\nCommunicate project requirements proficiently to internal/external stakeholders.\nServes as an extension of the sales team by fielding questions from internal/external stakeholders and providing answers on standard and custom products.\nMust be able to collaborate effectively with product management, manufacturing, purchasing, external suppliers and certification agencies to execute projects\nSet priorities to meet or exceed project budget and schedule across multiple projects at one time.
